Branching fractions are determined for the product NO(A2SIGMA+, v=0, 1) and NO(B2PI(r), v=0) emissions as a function of v' in the energy transfer reaction N2 (A 3SIGMA(u)+, v')+NO(X2PI(r), v''=0) in a rapidly pumped discharge-flow reactor operated at a total pressure of almost-equal-to 2 Torr at almost-equal-to 295 K. Using the NO(A2SIGMA+-->X2PI(r)) gamma0,7 and gamma1,8 band intensities we determined the ratio of gamma0/gamma1 to be 10.1+/-1.4, 8.46+/-1.02, and 5.74+/-0.71 (1sigma) for the energy transfer reactions N2(A3SIGMA(u)+, v'=0), N2(A3SIGMA(u)+, v' less-than-or-equal-to 1), and N2(A3SIGMA(u)+, v' less-than-or-equal-to 2) + NO (X2PI(r) v''=0), respectively. Using the gamma0,7 and beta0,7 bands we obtain a gamma0/beta0 ratio of 7.67 +/- 1.48, 3.28 +/- 0.42, and 1.52+/-0.21 (1sigma) for the energy transfer reactions N2(A3SIGMA(u)+, v'=0), N2(A3SIGMA(u)+, v' less-than-or-equal-to 1 ), and N2(A3SIGMA(u)+, v' less-than-or-equal-to 2) + NO(X2PI(r), v''=0), respectively.
