摘要
The P(N) method, also called the spherical harmonics method, is used along with Hermite cubic splines to define an iterative technique for solving a class of nonlinear problems in radiative transfer. Anisotropic scattering and specularly and diffusely reflecting boundaries are allowed for the steady-state, combined-mode, conductive-radiative, heat transfer problem considered. Computational aspects of the technique are discussed, and the method is used to establish the reported numerical results.
