摘要
In routine palliative care practice, modelization of death is inevitable. Such models develop from unstated desires : death is good in itself, better is to come after death, what is good is accessible. These elected ideals issue from a mental process constituting the foundation of nursing care. These ideals have value because of the way we try (imperfectly) to fulfill them or comprehend their representations. These individual and community ideals correspond to the declared desires of the terminally ill to "die well" and benefit from the specific form of interpersonal relation represented by palliative care. The dying person is enjoined more or less implicitly to respond to individual or social demands, and must, in order to escape total solitude in face of death, respond favorable.
