摘要
It is important to be aware of WHO's international initiatives in the area of patient safety and to integrate these into the organization's daily operations and practice standards. As these solutions are implemented and tested, providers need to be aware of the results obtained within their own organizations and at the national and international levels. These international Patient Safety Solutions closely correlate with the Joint Commission's National Patient Safety Goals, and both resources should be used in designing the organization's safety and infectioncontrol programs. © 2008 Sage Publication.
