摘要:
The goal of this article is to approach the debate on school failure as failure-at-school; a phenomenon that has taken place in the network of social interaction that constitutes school's every day life, conformed by the trio: school-family-students. We suppose that social interaction generated by this trio encourages (or denies), in different degrees, the feeling of belonging to the educative institution, a basic item in the conformation and in the quality of the learning process. From a methodological point of view, this article is based on the theoretical perspectives of Urie Brofenbrenner's Bioecological Approach to Human Development, and of Lev Vygotski's Cultural-historical psychology. Having in mind the possible outcome of this discussion, we consider that the phenomenon of school failure will be properly approached when the connections inside the tripod are changed by prioritizing the enculturation of those involved in school's every day life.
