摘要
The Experimental Psychology is one of the historical, theoretical, and methodological mainstays of Ergonomics or Human Factors Engineering. However, that essential role of Psychology is not reflected on the development of current Spanish Ergonomics. In the present paper, we are trying to prove-by means of particular research and bibliographic references-how the establishment of Ergonomics as independent scientific discipline was, indeed, caused by the transference of the psychological research to the modern technological world. Finally, we present a chronological annex which includes those references and others outstanding events that have contributed to the scientific and professional development of this field.
