Music Technology and Creativity: An experience in a College context

The goal of our study was to implement a new methodological focus in two subjects studied during the last year of an Education degree: Applied Musical Technology and Development of musical Expression and its Teaching. This new approach was based on the elaboration of a creative musical project. With this attempt, the students could achieve musical knowledge and technological proficiency required for mastering their courses. The results demonstrate that this type of work foments cooperative attitudes and creativity as well as achieving the educational goals related to the subject content.
