摘要
Cultural hybridism is a historic and social phenomenon that has existed since the first population moviments, when they resulted in permanents contacts between different groups. The Latin American continent is a space for the occurrence of cultural hybridism by excellence, because it has been a place of immigration and migration since time immemorial. Every migrant subject is a hybrid subject, because, when they leave their land, they become different, because the other people they meet in the foreign land have other customs and other beliefs, listen to other kinds of music and dance to other rhythms. The migrants' rhythm unites with that of the people they meet, and the process of cultural hybridism starts. The word subject here, in this text, means group or community.
