摘要
The Kerr magneto-optic bench has previously been used for dynamic domain studies. Also, a localised power loss measuring technique has been used to investigate some effects of the surface roughness of grain oriented 3% silicon iron. Surface roughness was found to reduce domain bowing and increase eddy current loss particularly at low flux density and frequency. The results are explained by reference to modifications of an established domain wall bowing model.
