摘要
This article analyzes the social implications of the socio-technical networks created by the opening of the hydroelectric market in Chile. In particular, we focus on the controversies generated by the sociopolitical and technological devices of energy over the traditional use of water the in territories of La Araucania region. In this territory water has had ancestrally other uses, which until now have not been recognized by national policy. Observing the energy device as a form of political and technological experience that intervene in territories and colonizes water for the operation of the energy market, we reflect on the form of the "society-nature" relationship that transforms water into a good of economic exchange, leaving behind other fields of knowledge and the collective uses of water. In particular, those who are represented from the "worlds of difference", where water can be at the same time life, landscape, spirit, energy, and development Methodologically multisite ethnography is addressed to describe this situation in the territories of Curacautin-Malalcahuello, allowing us to account for the obstacles that socio-technical devices impose on the formation of energy communities
