摘要：
This paper is concerned with the optimal size and time phasing for capacity expansion of natural gas pipelines. It is based on the fact that investment costs for pipelines are degressive to the capacity, that is economies of scale are substantial. A model is developed, from which it is possible to calculate the optimal sizes on links in a distribution network. The model is applied to the expansion plan for natural gas in Sweden.
