摘要
The lexical subject is a categorically substantive function which agrees with the verb. It can appear in a free position in the sentence, although we can generally find examples in which the subject appears more in a prenuclear verbal position than in a postnuclear verbal position. The subject can be distinguished from other syntactic functions because there is no pronominal referent when it is known, and it refuses any prepositional increment, in other words, it never takes preposition. Moreover, the subject can be a morphological one, because it can be indicated by the subjective numeral and personal morphemes which appear in the desinences of the verb.
