摘要：
In the decade of 1780 Valladolid needed to continue transforming itself and means for its recovery had a full and effective change. In this context, it appeared the first local newspaper, born scientific and artistic Academies, the local Sociedad Economica de Amigos del Pais had aimed at the educational and agriculture-manufacturer- commercial progress and innovative initiatives from the Royal Chancery reports projected to improve the city. However, and although the spirit of modernization of the Enlightened mindset was not univocal, the dynamic was totally opposite, predominating the inertia against to innovation.
