摘要：
The Spanish conquistadors and priests who went to the American colonies dedicated their efforts to educate Indians, Creoles and the Spanish. Influenced by European humanism, they trained women appropriately according to their sex. Instruction of a Christian woman written by Luis Vives served as a model in this process of indoctrination.
