摘要
Performance evaluation determines to what extent systems actively and efficiently utilise sources allocated. One of the analysis methods widely used in recent years for performance measurement is efficiency analysis (EA). Such methods as ratio, parametric and non parametric are used in efficiency analysis. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), one of the non parametric methods, is the theoric base of this study. Since there is no study on evaluating the efficiency of foundation universities by using DEA method, the study focuses on this issue. The paper first explains the concept, secondly introduces the models used in DEA. In the study finally the relative efficiency of foundation universities are analised by using input and output oriented CCR and BCC models. Furthermore efficiency ordering of foundation universities determined in help of super efficiency model.
