Successful treatment of podotrochlosis: A contribution to holistic hoof science

Based on the practice experience of the author and with case studies, the article discusses the appearance, symptoms and nature of the disease generally referred to as naviscular syndrome or podotrochlosis. Comparisons are drawn between the author's findings and international research as well as widely accepted anatomic, histological and psychological facts on hoofs. Successful treatment of the syndrome entails a 100 per cent recovery of the entire ability of a relapsefree hoof.
