Site-specific art? Reflections on performance in spaces not traditionally dedicated to this

This article reflects upon the use of alternative spaces for the making of performances, adopting a relational approach that could connect research and education. The work focus on the analysis of some terms applied to performances in alternative spaces, focusing further on in analysing the term site-specific and its derivations. The choice of terms do not accuse just an attempt to define the way in which the art work dialogues with its surroundings and everyday life spaces but it also seem to unveil an attempt to redefine territorialities through the arts.
