THE PUBLIC POLICY OF SPORTS AND RECREATION IN THE CITY OF MEDELLIN, COLOMBIA: PARTICIPATION IN THE PROCESSES OF MANAGEMENT OF THE SPORTS SCENARIOS OF INDER - THE INSTITUTE OF SPORTS AND RECREATION OF MEDELLIN

Participation in sports venues in the city of Medellin, Colombia, is part of the final results of the research: The sports venues and UVA in the active dynamics of the city, whose objective was to establish their impact on city issues. He worked from a multi-method approach to the implementation of support (sports development index and access) access to distribution issues. For participation, entrepreneurship and resilience talks, workshops, questionnaires and socialization with players in the program worked. The purpose with the issue of participation was evident the relationship between sports venues and social and political processes. The neighborhood sports venues for their representativeness, 2/3 of the total, their way of management from the territory and its community context were taken into account. It was evident that participation in the management of sports venues is conditioned by interests, tensions and dynamics between different actors. Situation, demand actions to strengthen the program, coordinating actions from different instances of INDER, educating and empowering communities, strengthening their initiatives and advancing partnerships with other departments of the Municipality of Medellin. He also brings to the field of studies on the relationship between sport and social and political issues.
