摘要
The past decade has seen the fast growth of nanofluids science in many fields. Number of research is carried out that is primarily features on the thermal conductivity of these fluids. Nano fluids are new variety of fluids manipulated by diffusing nanoparticles in base fluids. Analysis of thermal conductivity of Aluminium Oxide (Al2O3) nanoparticles diffused in water in the volume fraction of 4% used in Solar Water Heater is modelled and analysed. Initially the water is analysed with Solar Water Heater and an Outlet temperature of 355 K is obtained. Water based Al2O3 nanofluid of volume fraction of 4% is then analysed with Solar Water Heater. From the result a 30 degrees C increase in the outlet temperature is achieved than that of water. Then the analysis results are compared with results of the theoretical calculation.
