This study was undertaken to discover what changes had occurred in U.S. programs with American Library Association (ALA) accreditation from 1984-85 to 1989-90 in specialty courses in archival studies, art, health sciences, and music librarianship that actually had been offered as opposed to being listed in a school's catalog. The second survey allowed other specialty courses to be added, and 49% of respondents reported courses in law librarianship and/or legal bibliography. The results of the surveys are given and the changes between them tabulated.
