摘要
Three types of houses, viz. pucca regular poultry shed, thatched bamboo house with deep litter and thatched bamboo house with slat floor, were evaluated for the internal shed environment and productive performance of broilers in them during 2 different periods of a year. The houses were identical with each other in terms of the minimum and maximum inside temperature, inside relative humidity, ammonia concentration and liner moisture content (%) during any of the periods. Between the periods, the inside temperature, humidity and litter moisture (%) were high during June-July than those in January-Feburary. The broilers reared in these houses had also not shown any significant differences for body weights, weight gain, feed consumption and feed efficiency.
