摘要
The effect of an electric field on the energy E(R) and the resonant width GAMMA of quantum-well levels with surface states at the edges is studied. Calculations are carried out in a model incorporating a difference between the Bloch functions of the edges of the bands of the boundary layers. The behavior of E(R) and GAMMA as a function of the electric field S is found through an exact numerical solution of the Schrodinger equation with a complex energy E = E(R) - iGAMMA/2.
