THE PROCESS GAMMA-STAR-GAMMA-STAR-]PI-0 AND THE NONLOCALITY OF CONDENSATES

We calculate the form factor F-gamma-pi of the transition gamma*gamma* --> pi-0 in the asymptotically leading order in 1/Q2 for an arbitrary asymmetry omega of the heavy photons. The calculations are carried out in a generalized QCD sum-rule method with nonlocal condensates. We find that for the existing value lambda-q2 = <qBAR NABLA 2q>/<qBARq> = 0.4 +/- 0.1 GeV2 of the nonlocality parameter the sum rules work practically for all omega. In this case the form factor F-gamma-pi is especially sensitive to the value of lambda-q2 when the asymmetry is high.
