INDIRECT POLAROGRAPHIC-DETERMINATION OF TRACE AMOUNTS OF NONIONIC SURFACTANTS

摘要：
The polarographic method was established of determination of the trace amounts (from 0.2 to 2 ppm) of the selected non-ionic surfactants (NIS) with the precision greater than +/- 6%. The determination is based on formation of complexes of the NIS with molybdophosphoric acid (KMF) and on the polarographic determination of the complexed acid. The results obtained from polarographic method were compared with these from the X-ray fluorescence spectrometry method, which was established earlier. The developed method was used for the determination of NIS in surface and waste waters.
