CRYSTALLIZATION BEHAVIOR AND MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF AMORPHOUS ND-FE-B THIN-FILMS

摘要
Hard magnetic films with a coercivity Hc > 15.7 kOe are obtained by crystallizing sputtered amorphous NdFeB films. Crystallization behavior, structure, and magnetic properties are studied. The amorphous films exhibit an anisotropy of 1.4 × 106 erg/cm3 and a preferable alignment of the magnetization. The temperature dependence of the resistivity shows a resistivity minimum at about 273°C. With crystallization, the coercivity and average hyperfine field increase sharply, and the direction of the magnetization rotates toward the film plane. An unknown phase is found in the samples with the highest coercivity annealed at 750°C. Copyright © 1990 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA
