QUALITY-CONTROL FOR A BIBLIOGRAPHIC DATABASE

The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) was created in 1978 to promote the right of Canadians to a safer workplace. CCOHS has developed a computerized information system called CCINFO. As a bibliographic database component of CCINFO, CANADIANA provides references to occupational health and safety literature published in Canada, about Canada, or written by Canadian authors. Quality control efforts have been made in database design and record creation procedures for optimal retrieval of accurate and reliable bibliographic information.
