摘要
The chlorine K-beta-emission fluorescence spectra of 13 hydrated metal chlorides are measured with a high-resolution two-crystal spectrometer. The chlorides studied are hydrated alkaline-earth dichlorides MgCl2.6H2O, CaCl2.2H2O, SrCl2.6H2O and BaCl2.2H2O; hydrated rare-earth trichlorides LaCl3.7H2O, CeCl3.7H2O, PrCl3.7H2O, NdCl3.7H2O, EuCl3.xH2O and GdCl3.6H2O; and hydrated metal chlorides CdCl2.2.5H2O, InCl3.xH2O and SnCl2.2H2O. The measured emission spectra are compared with the chlorine K-beta emission spectra of anhydrous metal chlorides reported previously. The influence of water molecules is observed in the emission spectra of the hydrated chlorides. The Cl K-beta emission spectra of MgCl2.6H2O2, SrCl2.6H2O and SnCl2.2H2O are presented along with the Cl K absorption spectra reported previously.
