摘要
This paper aims to show the revitalization and recovery at the banks of Angico stream, which is in the Malhadinha Quilombola Community, in Brejinho de Nazare, city of Tocantins State, Brasil. The actions involved recovery with Environmental Education activities with the local population that depends on agriculture to survive. The environmental education is essential to sensitize who use the natural resources and aims the Malhadinha Community take care of the nature inside its area. The project was developed between April and December of 2014. The area was recovered and the local population is responsible to manage it, and especially use the natural resources reasonably, acting as environmental inspectors.
