摘要：
The objective of this work is to show the function that cooperatives play in rural development. Their main characteristics and means are analyzed to know the way these firms foment the development and encourage the economics and society of rural spaces. Some examples in Malaga are studied, and we can confirm their positive role in unemployment problem.
