摘要
Traditionally, the PC was considered to be structured in a vertical, unitary and professional fashion, preoccupied primarily with ideological formation rather than electoral victory, characterized by its working-class profile and strong administrative internal organization-particularly its cell-based structure-. We ask how these characteristics met with limitations by defining a policy of popular fronts that implied alliances with other actors, thus modifying its own qualities. The documentary corpus includes party documents and media (both from the Communist Party and other political or social organizations), personal files, autobiographies, and interviews. The codification of these allowed us to order the data extracted from these documents, grouping themaccording to their similarities and differences-into categories that facilitated analysis.
