摘要
A variety of suggestions on how nature reserves can make visitors more circumspect in their consumption of resources are given. Wherever possible, the authorities that manage the reserves should implement a 'user-pays' approach that incorporates social costs. These measures have the potential to reduce the level of resource consumption in the reserve, and have educational value in that they may promote a greater concern for resource conservation in visitors' homes and work-places.
