摘要
Article 8 in the 1860's Moroccan-Spanish Agreement paved the way for Spain to possess a territory in the Atlantic coast, in the site known as Santa Cruz de Mar Pequenua. Subsequently, the two meetings of the Mixed Moroccan-Spanish Committee held in 1878 and 1883 decided on Sidi Ifni as a relevant site. However, the uprisings in the Souss region and the Oued Noun delayed the colonial project. The current article discusses the site of Sidi Ifni in the face of Spanish colonialism. The first part of the study exposes the aborted attempts of Sidi Ifni's occupation at the beginning of the 20th century (from 1911 to 1933). The second part, however, deals with the colonization of the site and the issue of the borders during 1934-1936. From1936 until Moroccan independence, Sidi Ifni struggled for its development.
