Aquaculture engineering from the point of student view

摘要
Production of fishery products reached its maximum level in 2002, between years of 1990 - 2003. It became a 'sector' when it reached about 80,000 tons of marketable size production in 2003. Fishery production rise has similarities with fishery education in Turkey. In this study, Fisheries Faculty students opinions collected on aquaculture with a poll. 186 students out of total 757 students interviewed whom selected based on layered sampled method. According to results of the poll, 97% of students consume meat products, and out of 64% of this group prefer white meat. 36% of the students prefer consuming fish products as white meat.
