Low frequency vibration was applied during the pre-gellation period of the cure cycle of vacuum-bagged carbon/epoxy unidirectional tape, (0/90)4s laminated plates. Decreased void content in excess of 50% and increased laminate densification of 0.5% were measured. Data also indicated an approximate 10% increase in size of the remaining voids.
