摘要：
It is shown that the real order of the reduced model obtained by the technique given in Mukherjee and Mishra (J. Franklin Inst., Vol. 325, pp. 235-245, 1988) is generally higher than the designed order according to the definition given for the order of multivariable systems (Kailath, ''Linear Systems'', Prentice-Hall, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, 1980; Martin and Hermann, Siam J. Control Optimiz., Vol. 16, pp. 743-755, 1978). This technique may lead to reduced order models that are in fact of higher order than the initial system.
