摘要
Intertemporal price discrimination is explained from consumer rationing. If some consumers who have a low valuation for a good are served first at low prices, high valuation consumers buy at a high price although they rationally foresee future price drops. Price discrimination then yields more profits to a monopolist than a uniform pricing strategy. © 1991.
