摘要：

The ongoing postponement of childbearing in the Czech Republic has resulted in an increase in the share of women who realise their reproduction at an older age. Recently a rise in the share of children born aft er the use of ART has been registered in the Czech Republic similar to Belgium or Scandinavian countries. The main goal of the article is to examine the relationship between the increasing use of ART and the fertility transition in the Czech Republic. In addition, the significance of the use of ART for recent and future fertility trends is discussed in a European comparison.
