Excess molar enthalpies at the temperature 298.15 K were measured for {x1CH3(CH2)2OH + x2CH3CH2COCH2CH3+ (1-x1-x2)CH3(CH2)CH2)uCH3} (u = 5,6), including x2= 0 and x1= 0, using a Calvet microcalorimeter. The experimental results agreed quite well with those calculated by using the Nitta and Chao equation. © 1993 Academic Press Ltd.
