摘要
Postcolonial Studies developed in a context of an anthropological turn in a modern humanities. When in the center of interests appeared problem of difference, otherness. Postcolonial critics read and deconstruct dominating attitudes and narrations towards others which are reflected in literature. At present, Polish postcolonial critic has started analyzed Polish narration about Borderlands and deconstructed Borderlands discourse as a dominating and colonial towards countries and nations which were a part of a eastern territory of Poland. In this article author discussed features of such a discourse on the example of travel essay about Ukrainians and Ukraine by contemporary writer and publicist Pavel Laufer Ukraine from the side of the rode, some times even from the ditch. Few side road thoughts.
