摘要
With evolution of various manufacturing technologies, thermal spray based approaches have captured a great importance in several large scale industries, for example, power plants, boilers, chemical industries and aviation etc. Thermal spray technologies are extensively employed in heavy duty as well as high temperature applications for developing corrosion and creep resistant coatings. They have become one of the critical industrial technologies of importance and they are yet to penetrate deeply into the markets of many developing nations like India. In this paper, a critical review on thermal spray technologies along with latest innovations and market potentials in the Indian market will be presented.Copyright (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
