摘要：
The main aim of this study is to turn attention to the need of incorporating hand-to-hand combat skills in training of the officers of the Polish Uniformed Services and using the skills during the competitions of the championships rank. In the study the attention was also drawn to the uniform services workers' attitude to mixed martial arts (then: MMA) and their participation in the Championships of Poland in this sports discipline. The third aim of the study was to show the development of popularity of MMA in recent years, both in Poland and among the officers of the uniformed services
