Right to work to people with disabilities in Ecuador

This article analyzes the right to work for people with disabilities in Ecuador as a fundamental right. In this research, there was done an analysis of the constitution of the fundamental right and then there was necessary to study in an empirical way the institutional facts that generated the right previously mentioned. The constitutional field was established on the theory of the fundamental rights of Robert Alexy, and the practical area was based on the analysis of institutional facts through a qualitative research. This methodology allowed us to determine that in Ecuador the fundamental right of work for people with disabilities is not effectively applied as it is required or prescribed by the Constitution and international treaties.
