A SCALE FOR MEASUREMENT OF IMPACT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

The present study was undertaken during the year 2014-15. The scale was developed and standardized to measure the Impact of Entrepreneurship Development Programmes. Six components of the impact of entrepreneurship development programmes namely, leadership ability, decision making ability, confidence level, management orientation, establishment of enterprise and growth of enterprise were considered. A total of 135 item/statement collection was made for relevancy test, out of which 101 were qualified in relevancy test. Further, the statements were subjected to item analysis through 't-test', out of 101 statements and all the statements were qualified. The construct validity of the scale was established by correlation of the component scores with the total scores of the test. The reliability of the scale was tested by employing test retest method. The researchers of social sciences will find the scale useful for studying the impact of entrepreneurship development programmes.
