摘要
This paper analyses the implementation process of the methodology adopted for the research project entitled "Music Teacher Training in Brazil" being carried out by the MusE - Music and Education research group located in the State University of Santa Catarina, UDESC. The research discusses the major challenges in respect to: (1) the response rate of instruments for collecting data; (2) the establishment of a representative population sample and 3) ethical issues such as anonymity and reciprocity. The aim of this research is to contribute to the debate and possibility of improving the mechanisms that report on the training of music teachers in Brazil.
