摘要
The grafting of acrylic acid on radiation-peroxidised Teflon-EEP film provides an effective technique to prepare ion-exchange membranes. It was found that the grafted membranes have very high degree of swelling in aqueous KOH. The electric resistance of the film decreases considerably by grafting. An electric resistance of 0.2-OMEGA. cm2 was obtained for a graft level beyond 58%. The hydrophilicity of the film was evaluated in terms of contact angle which shows a decreasing trend with the increasing degree of grafting.
