摘要
The expansion of global flows around the world and the dominance of the neoliberal gaze would have influenced the formation of a deregulated global economy, whose multinational networks would determine the other social actors. In order to verify the extent to which some of these globalization processes are territorialized, the study analyses the role of global economic actors and how they have interrelated with some governmental policies in the last decades. The results of the analysis show that capital has become an important connecting node of the economy: a global city. However, it seems that the transformation of the nature of power into global and economic, whilst politics is exercised mainly at a local level, can have important effects especially on the consolidation of the logic of accumulation and expansion, which characterize some of these new strategic territories.
