摘要
The purpose of this article is to examine from the political Hannah Arendt's thought the distinction between public and private spheres, and the way how the modernity of the private life sphere reached a public meaning never taken before. We begin by the division that the Greeks and Romans did with these two spheres, giving more emphasis to the Greeks, where the relating issues to the field of the private life could never enter to the public domain. Therefore, it is only in modern times that the public sphere has become only a function of the private sphere, this way, it will be enable that the life and the need ascend to the central political issue.
