THE RECONSTRUCTIVE CHARACTER OF THE INDIGENOUS JUSTICE, IN CHIMBORAZO, ECUADOR: ETHICAL PERSPECTIVE

In recent years in Ecuador, has begun to speak of the "indigenous justice". The media, in most cases because of their ignorance, they spoke of "lynching" and "executions" as if it were an act of primitive savagery that violates the human rights. The conflict resolution in the indigenous justice has instances and procedures that lead to individual and collective reconstruction of the community. The procedures of Indigenous justice, the punishments and healing rituals are reconstructive, which shows go further with respect to the ordinary courts of the West, which ends up in the jail, or up in a rehab experience.
