ETHICAL ASPECTS OF THE AIDS EPIDEMIC

As far as the occidental countries are concerned, some ethical aspects of the HIV-aids epidemic are tackled, specially those encountered by the psychiatrist with HIV testing and professional secret; in fact, it becomes more and more obvious that chronic mentally ill adults are a risky population for the HIV, hence the institutionnal conditions of the psychiatric practice are to be modified.
