摘要
Polarographic and cyclic voltammetric studies of the DELTA3-1,3,4-thiadiazoline-2-spiro-2'-adamantane on mercury electrodes in aqueous-ethanol Britton - Robinson's buffer soIutions from pH 1,3 to 12 have been carried out. It has been proved that under investigated conditions thiadiazoline(1) is reduced to corresponding thiadiazolidine (6) and the mechanism of these electrode reactions has been proposed. In cyclic voltammetric measurements of TSA using HMDE it was found that besides the peak, equivalent to the polarographic wave, a new system of peaks was observed in all solutions used. It was established that this additional system of peaks results from the chemical reaction of the mercury electrode with the adsorbed intermediate products of TSA reduction. In alkaline solutions, a new peak has been observed which is assumed to be responsible for the reduction of mercury salts of ring-opened TSA.
